KUDOC worked with the New York Riverside Church through the RIVER SIDE SHARING FUND https://www.trcnyc.org/sharingfund/ to train, stitch and donate 3500 Reusable Sanitary Pads to 500 war victim adolescent girls in the North West Region of Cameroon. The program is improving  the health of the adolescent girls by enabling consistent menstrual hygiene, increasing school attendance by preventing missed days due to lack of products, and fostering empowerment and dignity by providing a sustainable and affordable solution to period poverty. These benefits are significantly improving the overall well-being of the girls by reducing vulnerability to exploitation and allowing girls to manage their health with confidence.
